Wines, Travel, Food, Culture & Pleasure
"One of the reasons to travel to Piedmont, besides the wines, the landscape, and the sights, is the journey itself, the food, the culture, and the enjoyment."
We warmly welcome you to our winery!
We are pleased to help make your trip to Piemonte a special experience. For over 20 years, we have been organizing wine tours in our region for clients, friends, and lovers of Piemonte. The family management and good relationships enable us to offer you an unforgettable stay. We are happy to accommodate the individual requests of our clients and integrate them into the program.
Create your personalized journey to Piedmont.

As in previous years, you can put together your own personalized wine trip to us. We have prepared organized daily programs that you can combine according to your preferences. You are also welcome to share any special restaurant wishes (more information in the Restaurant Recommendations), which we will happily include in your personalized itinerary.
The minimum number of participants for groups is 8 people.
If you are traveling alone or in a smaller group, we’ll be happy to assist you with your reservations.
Milan, Turin, and Genoa always offer wonderful destinations for excursions. Imperia, Portofino, and Monte Carlo are also popular destinations. Our winery provides an ideal environment for relaxation, as it is surrounded by a beautiful national park that invites hiking and cycling.
The combination of enjoyment and golf is becoming increasingly popular. There are many golf courses nearby. In about 30 minutes of travel, you can reach the largest outlet in Europe. Hiking in the Aosta Valley is another highlight. It is also an ideal destination for motorcycle enthusiasts, who can fully enjoy the breathtaking scenery. The area around Asti and Alba offers numerous castles and churches, and the truffle market in Alba is famous worldwide.
For July, we have already arranged family experience weeks at the winery, a complete program with fine food, culture, sports, and relaxation for the adults, and fun, adventure, and discoveries for the children.
Highlights include gourmet dinners, wine tastings, excursions, bowling, go-karting, meals, bike tours, barbecue evenings, swimming, picnics, and much more.

In the following section, you’ll find daily and guided programs. Here, you can create your personalized journey based on your interests.

Under the personal guidance of Chef Ivano, you will dive into the secrets of Piedmontese cuisine. Throughout the cooking session, you will be accompanied by our wines — a harmonious combination of flavor, tradition, and passion.
Another culinary highlight is the Privatissimo at our family estate. Together with Chiara, you will prepare a five-course evening menu. If you are less enthusiastic about cooking, you are welcome to spend the afternoon with me in the wine cellar. We will then enjoy the meal together.
Day’s Schedule

- Upon returning to Rocchetta, the winery’s Cantina will be open for a special wine tasting.

Truffle Hunting from September to November
The cost for the truffle hunt is €25.00 per person (€65.00 with truffle lunch included), with a minimum of 5 participants.
In autumn, the earth gifts us with a special tuber. The scent of truffles fills the air, and the cuisine of this region knows exactly how to use it to perfection. For gourmets and enthusiasts, it’s an experience not to be missed.
Chiara works with two hunting companions who search for truffles professionally. Here you’ll gain insight into the fascinating work of a truffle hunter. This is not a typical tourist excursion, it’s an authentic experience. Naturally, we will also taste the truffles we find, either during a private event at the winery or at one of the restaurants we recommend.
The cost for the truffle hunt is €25.00 per person (€65.00 with truffle lunch included),
with a minimum of 5 participants.
(The hunt lasts about 2 hours.)
This offer is available from September to the end of November, during the season of the coveted white truffles.

Sagre Astigiane: Festival of Festivals
The Festival delle Sagre Astigiane, also known as the Festival of Festivals, is an outstanding event held annually on the second weekend of September in the Piedmontese city of Asti. The origins of the festival date back to 1974, as an attempt to bring together the many village festivals of the region into one large celebration. The goal was to honor rural culture and make the gastronomic specialties of the Astigiano more accessible to a broader public.
At the heart of the festival is the "culinary village." Temporary structures are set up, where over 40 local associations offer typical regional dishes at their stands, accompanied by excellent wines. This open-air restaurant is considered the largest in Italy and allows visitors to experience authentic Piedmontese cuisine all in one place.
Another highlight is the historical parade on Sunday morning. More than 3,000 participants in authentic costumes reenact scenes from rural life in times gone by. With agricultural tools, antique tractors, and farm animals, the region's farming heritage is vividly brought to life. This colorful procession winds through the streets of the old town and ends at Piazza Campo del Palio, where the celebrations continue.
The Festival delle Sagre Astigiane is not just a feast for the senses but also an important cultural event that preserves and promotes the identity and traditions of the Astigiano. It offers both locals and visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich history and gastronomy of the region and to experience the warm hospitality of the Piedmontese communities.

1-Day Tour: Portofino & the Ligurian Coast
The picturesque and elegant Portofino, one of Italy’s most exclusive coastal villages, has already served as the backdrop for countless films. At La Gritta, one of Italy’s most famous bars, you can enjoy a Negroni as an aperitif and immerse yourself in the spirit of La Dolce Vita.
In front of Portofino lies Rapallo, a beautiful coastal town perfect for shopping. We could also organize a boat trip to San Fruttuoso to visit the abbey, with a brunch served on board. We will end the day with dinner at the yacht club of Santa Margherita before returning (Additional costs for the boat trip). It is also possible to visit Genoa.

1 Day Sailing in Imperia
In Imperia lies the winery’s boat, which can be rented daily. It is 34 feet (10.5 meters) long and offers 6 sleeping places. Originally it was a regatta boat, which was beautifully renovated on Lake Como. It is ideal for a sailing trip along the French Riviera. Imperia is located near San Remo, Ventimiglia, and Nice.
Enjoy the sea, savor fresh fish, and relax. Let yourself be rocked by the waves and enchanted by the stunning Ligurian coastline. Imperia is about 170 km from the winery. A day trip is possible, but we recommend allowing more time to fully enjoy the experience without any rush..
The rental price is €500.00 per day.
A skipper’s license is required.

1 Day of Relaxation at the Winery
The winery invites you to relax and stay a while. Even spending the entire day here is an absolute pleasure. Enjoy the sun terrace or the quiet zone, perfect for reading, a good conversation, or simply letting your thoughts wander. Prepare pizza together or have a barbecue, go fishing or swim in the river, or explore the nature park by bike... All accompanied by excellent wines.
In the evening, you can enjoy a private aperitif at the villa or have a meal prepared for you at the nearby wine bar.
Alternatively, you can indulge in a tasting menu at one of Piedmont’s finest restaurants, I Bologna.
And all of this without even needing a car.

1-Day Tour: Barolo, Barbaresco, La Morra
After breakfast, departure for La Morra. An incredible view of the Langhe wine region awaits visitors. Even the drive through the vineyards becomes an experience in itself. Next, we head to the nearby town of Barolo. Visit to the Marchesi di Barolo winery, followed by lunch at their in-house Foresteria. Here, a refined 5- to 7-course menu awaits you, paired with a tasting of the estate’s best wines, including a vintage Barolo.
On the way back, we will visit Neive, one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Italy. There, we will explore the Romano Levi distillery (known as the Pope of Grappa). An aperitif awaits you on the main square, and if you wish, a visit to the specialty producer First Filet. We will end the evening with small bites at the winery.

The imperial city, once a royal seat, a hub of design, and the birthplace of the aperitivo and chocolate, Turin was the first capital of Italy.
The capital of Piedmont is full of surprises and enchantment. It is often mistakenly labeled an industrial city due to Fiat, but upon arrival, it becomes immediately clear: this is a misconception. Turin was the royal seat of the House of Savoy and remained the capital of Italy until the end of the 18th century.
Twelve kilometers of arcades lined with elegant boutiques, fine delicatessens, and legendary cafés such as Caffè Torino invite visitors to stroll and explore. Turin is home to the world’s oldest chocolate production as well as a unique cinema museum. It is here that the aperitivo and the grissini (breadsticks) were invented. The city also hosts the world’s second-largest Egyptian museum and the famous Shroud of Turin.
The possibilities in this city are so diverse that we tailor your program individually to your wishes.

1-Day Tour: Sacra di San Michele
A monument, a symbol of the Piedmont region, and a place that inspired writer Umberto Eco’s bestselling novel The Name of the Rose: the Sacra di San Michele. This impressive abbey was built between 983 and 987 on the hill of Monte Pirchiriano, just 40 km from Turin.
From its small towers, you can admire the capital of Piedmont and enjoy breathtaking views over the Susa Valley. Inside the main church, which was built in the 12th century, lie the tombs of the royal family of the House of Savoy.
For adventurers, there is also a highly recommended climbing path up to the abbey, though good physical fitness is advised.
